Nothing. Parish pages, groups, ministries, and OCIA tools are free for every parish in your diocese — there is no per-parish license, no diocesan contract, and no credit card required. We're building the platform where Catholic community happens, and parishes are the heart of it.
Do our parishes have to build their pages from scratch?
No — 16,548 U.S. parish pages are already live on Catholic Connect with Mass times and location details, organized under all 196 dioceses and archdioceses. Rollout means each parish claims its existing page and starts using groups, not a data-entry project.
How is this different from ParishSOFT or diocesan census software?
Tools like ParishSOFT and Gabriel are back-office records suites — census, sacramental records, personnel files, accounting. Catholic Connect is the member-facing layer those systems don't have: parishioners actually use it to find Mass, join groups, RSVP, and get announcements. It complements a records system today — and where your chancery needs diocese-facing tools like priest personnel tracking or financial roll-ups, we build them alongside partner dioceses.
How do we claim our diocese?

Can the diocese see what's happening across parishes?
Yes — the diocese console gives your chancery a roll-up of every parish in the diocese: which pages are claimed, group activity, and your clergy roster, with CSV exports. Every parish page, group, and event is public too. For deeper reporting like financial roll-ups, we build alongside partner dioceses.
How does a rollout actually work?
Start with a handful of parishes — we help their staff claim pages and launch their first groups (OCIA is the natural first one). Then expand deanery by deanery. Our team supports the whole process at no cost.
