About CCD Student Programming, Activities & Resource Center (SPARC) · Denver
The Student Programming, Activities & Resource Center (SPARC) at the Community College of Denver supports the holistic success and belonging of CityHawk students through student services focused on well-being, self-advocacy, leadership development, and access to basic needs. Located in Tivoli 260, SPARC offers a range of campus resources including student leadership programs, accessibility support, counseling, and community services like the Swooper Market Food Pantry. It serves as a central hub for student engagement and campus community building.
SPARC is a student-centered office dedicated to enhancing the academic, social, and personal growth of CCD students. It provides services that go beyond the classroom, including leadership development, mental health support, basic needs assistance, and student advocacy. SPARC collaborates with other campus offices such as the Accessibility Center, Student Ombuds, and the Counseling Center to ensure students have access to comprehensive support. Its programs are designed to foster inclusion, belonging, and student success through culturally responsive and collaborative initiatives. The center is open Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, and serves all CCD students regardless of background or circumstance.
