About Auraria Campus ID Station · Denver

The Auraria Campus ID Station is a student-services office of the Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC) located inside the historic Tivoli Student Union on the shared Auraria Campus in downtown Denver, Colorado. It issues campus photo ID badges for students, faculty, and staff of AHEC, the Auraria Early Learning Center, Community College of Denver (CCD), Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver), and the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver), and it distributes RTD Mobile CollegePasses and EcoPasses. The ID Station also functions as the campus information hub, manages lost and found, and handles Tivoli locker rentals.

The Auraria Campus ID Station operates out of Suite 269 of the Tivoli Student Union at 900 Auraria Parkway, Denver, CO 80204, on the lower downtown Auraria Campus shared by three institutions of higher education. Its core mission is to produce and maintain campus photo identification badges — including standard IDs, smart-ID badges, and RTD CollegePass smart cards — for the more than 30,000 students and thousands of faculty and staff who use the campus each year. New badges and replacement badges are issued for a $30 fee, with processing for new badges typically taking 3–5 business days at the start of each term. In addition to ID services, the ID Station acts as a central point of contact for general campus questions, off-campus housing resources, and other college programs; manages the Tivoli locker rental program (including maintenance of the rental log, signage, and combination changes each semester); oversees lost-and-found inquiries; and serves as the contact point for deactivating lost or stolen badges. The office is staffed by a manager — Rosanna Sweeney, Campus ID Station Manager — together with a team of part-time student employees working at $17.29/hour, who handle ID production, cash-register balancing, RFID encoding, and customer service during campus events and remote locations. Regular hours are Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with adjusted summer hours (May 18 – Aug. 9) maintaining the same weekday window; the station is closed on weekends.
