The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown’s Catholic Campus Ministry serves students, faculty, staff, and community members with Catholic programs, liturgy, catechesis, and evangelization. It operates from J. Irving Whalley Memorial Chapel and aims to build a vibrant Catholic presence on campus as part of the Universal Church. The ministry offers Mass, Adoration, RCIA, retreats, and social events, welcoming all to participate in spiritual formation and community life.

Mission & Vision
Inspired by Christ’s command to 'make disciples of all nations,' the Office of Catholic Campus Ministry is committed to building a Catholic community through ministry, the Liturgy, catechesis, evangelization, and stewardship, so that together we may come to better know God among us. We aim to significantly build our Catholic presence and participation on campus with the intention of being recognized as an integral part of university life and the Universal Church.
Ministries & Programs
The ministry offers RENEW Small Faith Communities, Retreats, Theology on Tap, RCIA, and individual spiritual guidance. Students can also join the Pitt-Johnstown Catholic Campus Ministry Student Organization to promote and serve the community through religious, educational, and social activities.

Sacraments & Services
The ministry provides access to all sacraments, including Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, Confirmation, Marriage, and Anointing of the Sick. Weekly Masses are held on Sunday at 6 p.m. and Wednesday at Daily Mass. Confession is available Sunday at 7 p.m. and daily Adoration is open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
