bulldogCatholic is the Newman Center at the University of Minnesota–Duluth, serving students and the local community with daily Mass, Adoration, and fellowship. Its mission is to bring the Gospel to UMD students, ensuring they feel seen, known, and loved through Sacraments, spiritual formation, and authentic community. The center is staffed by a team of lay leaders, missionaries, and interns, led by Fr. Mike Schmitz, who serves as Chaplain and Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Duluth. It operates primarily during the academic year, with limited services during summer break.
