Twelve Apostles Catholic Parish is a Roman Catholic parish located at 17900 Humphrey's Road in Platte City, Missouri. It is the newest parish in the Diocese of Kansas City–St. Joseph, founded on April 4, 2008, when it was created from the eastern half of the historic Holy Trinity Parish in Weston. The current church building was completed and dedicated in May 2013. The parish shares its administrative office with its sister parish, Holy Trinity in Weston, and the two communities celebrate Mass across both campuses throughout the week.

Twelve Apostles is a young, growing Catholic community serving the Platte City area as part of the Diocese of Kansas City–St. Joseph. Members gather for weekend Mass on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings, with daily Mass on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Platte City campus and complementary weekday Masses at Holy Trinity in Weston. The parish offers Sacramental Reconciliation on Saturday afternoons before vigil Mass, Eucharistic Adoration on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and after Thursday noon Mass, and a Parish School of Religion that walks children from preschool through eighth grade through the truths and prayers of the Catholic faith — making it a welcoming home for families new to the area or looking for a smaller, close-knit parish community.

Parish History & Background
Twelve Apostles Catholic Parish was founded on April 4, 2008, when the Diocese of Kansas City–St. Joseph created it from the eastern half of the long-established Holy Trinity Parish in Weston. For its first five years the community worshipped without a permanent church home. The current church, located on Humphrey's Road in Platte City, was completed and dedicated in May 2013. The parish continues to share its administrative office with its sister parish, Holy Trinity in Weston, located at 407 Cherry Street, Weston, MO 64098.

Faith Formation: Parish School of Religion (PSR)
The parish operates a Parish School of Religion (PSR) religious education program documented in the Twelve Apostles PSR Student Handbook. The program walks children from preschool through eighth grade through the core teachings, prayers, and Sacraments of the Catholic faith, with parents recognized as the primary religious educators of their children.
