Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic parish in the small Williamson County town of Granger, Texas, in the Diocese of Austin. Established in 1891 by Czech and Moravian Catholic settlers, it today serves more than 500 families not only in Granger but also in surrounding communities such as Bartlett, Holland, Weir, Thorndale, Taylor, and Georgetown. The parish is pastored by Fr. Hilario Guajardo and is supported by Deacon Mark J. White, a Faith Formation director, a Youth Ministry director, a Parish Council, Finance Council, the Knights of Columbus, and ministry to two historic Catholic cemeteries.

History of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church
The parish was founded in 1891 by Czech (Bohemian and Moravian) Catholic settlers who had begun arriving in the Granger area (then known as Pollack) in 1882. Johann Neusser, a charter member and building committee member, is documented as a driving force in establishing the parish. O.R. Bartosh was another of the builders whose family would shape Granger for generations. A parochial school was added in 1899, and the parish's steeple has long been a landmark visible from Texas Highway 95.

Faith Formation and OCIA
Faith Formation at Sts. Cyril & Methodius serves children, teens, and adults, walking them through the teachings of the Catholic Church and preparation for the Sacraments. Children in grades attend Faith Formation classes on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, while OCIA classes meet on Sundays from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Children age 7 and older who have not yet been baptized may enter the OCIA-AC/AT process, a two-year preparation culminating in full initiation at the Easter Vigil.

Information about preparing for and celebrating each of the Sacraments is available through the parish office. Adults seeking Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation enter the OCIA process, while children age 7 and older may be fully initiated through OCIA-AC/AT.

Holy Cross Cemetery sits on FM 971 east of Granger, while Calvary Cemetery is located on County Road 335 — the same cemetery in which Johann Neusser, the parish's co-founder, was buried in 1914.
