St. Veronica Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic parish located at 3460 Centreville Road in Chantilly, Virginia, in the Diocese of Arlington. Established on June 17, 1999, the parish first celebrated Mass in August 1999 at the Community of Faith United Methodist Church in Herndon before moving to its current home. The parish is known for its strong catechetical preaching, a beautiful sanctuary built in part from salvaged items of older churches (including pews once used by St. Mother Teresa in the Basilica of the Assumption in Baltimore), and a long-running partnership with the Vietnamese Catholic community Our Lady of La Vang Mission. It also operates St. Veronica Catholic School (Pre-K through 8th grade).

Visitors and parishioners consistently note the quality of the homilies and the reverence shown to the Blessed Sacrament, including the use of new communion rails for those who wish to kneel. The parish runs a parish school (Pre-K–8), an active youth apostolate, young adults ministry, religious education for K–12, and a Saint Mother Teresa Outreach ministry — along with the Knights of Columbus — that serves the poor locally (e.g., bagged lunches for the Embry Rucker Community Shelter in Reston) and in the southern part of the diocese.

History of St. Veronica Parish
St. Veronica Catholic Church was canonically established on June 17, 1999, with boundaries drawn from three surrounding parishes: St. Timothy in Chantilly, St. John Neumann in Reston, and St. Joseph in Herndon. The first Mass was celebrated in August 1999 at the Community of Faith United Methodist Church in Herndon while the parish built its permanent home on Centreville Road. Since 2012, the parish has shared its facility with the Vietnamese Catholic community Our Lady of La Vang Mission, which celebrates weekly Mass and sacraments in Vietnamese until they can build their own parish. A statue of Our Lady of La Vang stands near the Adoration Chapel.

Parish Mission and Identity
The parish is fully united with the Bishop of Arlington and the Pope, the Bishop of Rome, and embraces the universal call to holiness — that every human person is called to be a saint. The parish mission is to form a loving and welcoming community anchored in the truth of Catholic teaching as taught by the magisterium and faithful to the Holy Father. Worship of God is the parish's priority — the source and summit of its Christian life — and education and evangelization in the faith is its major apostolate for parishioners and others of all ages.

Our Sanctuary and Sacred Furnishings
The focal point of the sanctuary is a new altar and tabernacle with the Veil of St. Veronica positioned on the front. A 100-year-old crucifix — lovingly restored by former parish art teacher Deb Lockwood — anchors the worship space, with a stained-glass window of St. Veronica positioned opposite it. Several inspiring statues and large, antique Stations of the Cross grace the church, and many furnishings were salvaged from older closed churches. The pews came from the Basilica of the Assumption in Baltimore and were restored before being placed in the church; one of them is a second-class relic because St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta prayed at it when it was still in the cathedral.

Religious Education & Faith Formation
St. Veronica runs a parish Religious Education program for students in grades K–12, held on Monday evenings from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm during the school year. The program also offers a Religious Education Homeschool track. Families must be registered parishioners to enroll. The director of Religious Education is Erin Rose Johnson.

St. Veronica Catholic School
The parish operates St. Veronica Catholic School, an academically challenging Pre-K through 8th-grade program in a small-class setting on the parish campus at 3460-B Centreville Road. The school's mission is to ensure vibrant religious education, exemplary academics, and service to others by empowering students and faculty through faith and knowledge. Outreach and Charity
The Saint Mother Teresa Outreach Ministry and the Knights of Columbus provide ongoing support to a parish in Madison County in the southern part of the diocese. Outreach activities include providing food, gifts, and gift cards to those less fortunate, making bagged lunches for the Embry Rucker Community Shelter in Reston, and collecting backpacks and school supplies for low-income students.

Our Lady of La Vang Mission (Vietnamese Catholic Community)
Since 2012, St. Veronica has shared its facility with the Vietnamese Catholic community Our Lady of La Vang Mission. The Vietnamese community celebrates Mass and the sacraments in their native language on a weekly basis until they can build their own parish, and also hosts youth activities and cultural celebrations at the facility. Devotion to Our Lady of La Vang traces back to the late 18th and early 19th centuries, when persecuted Vietnamese Catholics took refuge in the La Vang forest and reported an apparition of Mary holding the Christ Child. A Marian shrine now stands beside the destroyed basilica in Vietnam, and a statue of Our Lady of La Vang stands near the Adoration Chapel at St. Veronica.
