St. Titus Roman Catholic Church is a Catholic parish in Titusville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Erie. Established in 1862 during the Pennsylvania oil boom, the parish worships at 513 West Main Street in a remarkable sanctuary that literally encloses the original 1864 church within its later walls. Today the parish is led by Reverend Daniel R. Hoffman, with Parochial Vicar Rev. Festus Okoye and Permanent Deacon Kevin Harmon, and welcomes worshippers to weekend Masses on Saturday evening and Sunday morning, as well as daily Mass Monday through Friday.

Parish History
St. Titus was established in 1862 as Titusville boomed with the Pennsylvania oil rush that began in 1859. Reverend Father DeLarouque, who had been saying Mass in a cooper shop, broke ground on the West Main Street property that year, and the first church was completed in 1864. A historical marker on the grounds, placed by the City of Titusville and the Oil Region Alliance, tells the story of the parish's 19th-century origins, its Depression-era preservation of the original church, the Sisters of Mercy school tradition, and the 1996 interior renovation.

Mass & Worship Schedule
St. Titus celebrates a full weekly schedule of Masses in English. Weekend Masses are Saturday Vigil at 4:30 PM and Sundays at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Weekday Masses are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 8:30 AM, with Tuesday evening Mass at 6:30 PM. Children's Liturgy of the Word is offered at the 10:00 AM Sunday Mass from September through May.

Sacraments
St. Titus prepares parishioners for and celebrates all seven Catholic sacraments. Baptisms are scheduled by appointment; couples are asked to contact the parish at least six months before a wedding; the Anointing of the Sick is available for the homebound, hospitalized, or those in nursing homes; and adults seeking initiation into the Church are invited to journey through the RCIA process.

Faith Formation & Religious Education
The parish Faith Formation Program (FFP) provides religious instruction for the parish's youth. Classes meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM at the Faith Formation Center, coordinated by Faith Formation Coordinator Kathleen Puleo. The parish publishes an annual FFP Calendar (a downloadable PDF) and uses the FFP Remind App for weather-related cancellations: when local schools are closed or dismissed early, religious education classes are also canceled.
