St. Thomas the Apostle is a small-town Catholic worship site in Poynette, Wisconsin, under the patronage of the doubting apostle who believed. The church has served the Poynette area within the Diocese of Madison and, as of December 2025, is one of six former parishes canonically merged into the newly formed Nativity of the Lord Parish. Parishioners gather here for the Saturday Vigil, Sunday, and weekday Masses, as well as for prayer and sacramental life. The faith community continues to welcome newcomers through its worship site while sharing in the broader life of Nativity of the Lord Parish.

Current Parish Status
St. Thomas the Apostle in Poynette is now a worship site of Nativity of the Lord Parish, formed by the canonical merger of six parishes decreed by Bishop Donald Hying of the Diocese of Madison on December 20, 2025. Rev. James Leeser was appointed Pastor of the newly merged parish.
