Faith Formation and Religious Education
Faith Formation classes are held every Sunday during the school year. At St. Thomas Aquinas they meet at 12:30 PM, except on holiday weekends, in the CLC (Christian Life Center) building across the street from the church. St. Agnes in Pittsfield holds its faith formation classes after Sunday Mass from 9:15–10:30 AM. The cluster's Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) begins each September and is open to unbaptized adults, baptized Christians from other denominations seeking full communion, and Catholics who have not yet received Confirmation or Eucharist. A summer Vacation Bible School and the 'Circle of Grace' Safe Environment curriculum (Diocese of Portland) are part of the regular program. Registration costs approximately $25 per child in materials, with a $50 family rate, though no family is turned away for financial reasons.
