Our History
St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish was formed in 2021 by merging St. Leo the Great Parish (founded 1957) and St. Mary Parish (founded 1898). The St. Mary church in Bangor was deconsecrated in 2020. The parish now serves both communities from the West Salem church building.
Sacraments
The parish offers all seven sacraments: Baptism, Holy Communion, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Holy Matrimony, Holy Orders, and Anointing of the Sick.
