Weekend Mass is celebrated Saturdays at 5:00 PM and Sundays at 10:30 AM, with additional daily Mass and Communion Services during the week and a robust Religious Education and Youth Discipleship program on Wednesday evenings.

About St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish
St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish is a Catholic parish of the Diocese of Sioux Falls located in the planned community of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, just across the Missouri River from Sioux City, Iowa. The parish was established in 1999 and named in honor of St. Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa), the founder of the Missionaries of Charity. Its patron's feast day — September 5 — is celebrated annually. The parish belongs to the seven-parish Holy Angels Pastorate and shares clergy and youth-formation programming with neighboring faith communities in Elk Point, Jefferson, Vermillion, Beresford, Wakonda, and Centerville.
Faith Formation for Children and Youth
Religious Education for children in kindergarten through sixth grade meets Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on-site at St. Teresa in Dakota Dunes. Older youth in grades 7–12 take part in the pastorate-wide Youth Discipleship program, which gathers in mentor-led small groups Wednesday evenings from 7:15 to 8:30 PM during the school year. Both programs use a mix of video, small-group discussion, and prayer, with confirmation preparation offered in the tenth grade.

John Rutten. Deacon Joseph Twidwell and Deacon Dennis Davis serve the pastorate. The Director of Discipleship and Evangelization is Monica Elsinger, and the parish office administrator is Dawn Glover with DRE Elena Carlson. As of July 1, 2026, Fr. Kristopher Cowles will succeed Fr. Anderson as pastor of the pastorate.

Holy Angels Pastorate
St. Teresa of Calcutta is one of seven parishes that, together with the St. Thomas More Newman Center at the University of South Dakota, form the Holy Angels Pastorate of the Diocese of Sioux Falls. The pastorate was organized by Bishop Donald E. DeGrood as part of the diocese's restructuring into twenty-five pastorates, bringing together the Catholic communities of southeast South Dakota to collaborate on formation, evangelization, and service under the mission of Lifelong Catholic Missionary Discipleship through Christ's Love.
