St. Scholastica Catholic Parish is a growing Roman Catholic parish nestled in the historic heart of Erie, Colorado, where its church still stands on the original 1899 foundation laid by Benedictine pastor Rev. Cornelius Enders, O.S.B. The parish sits on the corner of Wells and Main streets and serves families from across the northern Front Range communities of Erie, Lafayette, Louisville, and beyond as part of the Archdiocese of Denver. Parish History
In 1899, Benedictine pastor Rev. Cornelius Enders, O.S.B., together with local parishioners — many of them early coal miners — completed the church that the parish still worships in. The building has been expanded, remodeled, updated, and enhanced over more than a century, but it remains on that original 1899 foundation. Parishioners have published two commemorative histories celebrating the 110th anniversary in 2009 and the 125th anniversary in 2024, alongside biographies of priests, deacons, and religious who have served the parish.

Traditional Latin Mass
St. Scholastica is one of the parishes in the Archdiocese of Denver that offers the Traditional Latin Form of the Mass, celebrated in addition to its Ordinary Form schedule. The Latin Mass is offered on Wednesday morning and Friday midday, and on the third Friday of each month the Friday TLM is moved to 7:30 AM to accommodate the parish's monthly calendar.

Faith Formation
St. Scholastica's Religious Education Program is overseen by the pastor and supported by volunteer catechists deeply rooted in their faith. The program is organized by age and grade, with sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion woven into the curriculum in line with the restored order of the sacraments in the Archdiocese of Denver. Family Faith Formation gatherings meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from 9:45 AM–11:00 AM in the Parish Hall, while Sacramental Prep classes and Post-Confirmation classes meet Tuesday afternoons.

To the Heights Youth Apostolate
The 'To the Heights' Youth Apostolate gathers middle and high school students around three movements — Come, See, and Live — drawn from Luke 14:10. The group meets Thursday evenings from 6:30–8:00 PM at St. Benedict's Acres (649 State Hwy 52) under youth leaders Devin Hays and Peggy Morrow, and uses Flocknote to keep families connected to news, calendar, and registration.

Knights of Columbus Council 15751
St. Scholastica is home to Knights of Columbus Council #15751. All practicing Catholic men aged 18 and older are invited to join, with the council's mission summarized as 'In Service to One, In Service to All.' Knights serve the parish, support the broader Erie community, grow in faith together, and have access to K of C insurance products for their families.

Sacraments
In keeping with the restored order adopted by the Archdiocese of Denver, the parish prepares children and adults for Baptism, First Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion through its Faith Formation Program.
