About SSRM Parishes
SSRM Parishes (St. Rose–St. Mary's) is a single Catholic pastoral family uniting St. Rose in Clintonville with St. Mary in Bear Creek under one administrator, Father Simon Minyati, OFM Conv. The parishes describe themselves as "an inviting faith-filled Catholic community made up of two unique parishes devoted to life-long learning and discipleship through prayer, service and sharing." Their shared mission is to be "friends and followers of Jesus… fostering households and communities of discipleship through the mission and ministry of the Catholic Church," and their vision is "missionary disciples striving to lead all people to the Kingdom of God."

History
The St. Rose congregation in Clintonville predates June 1881, when Bishop Krautbauer appointed the newly ordained Rev. P. J. Lochman as its first resident priest. During his two-year tenure Father Lochman built a school and a parsonage and from St. Rose founded missions that grew into independent parishes — including St. Joseph's in Tigerton (1882) and the first Catholic church at Antigo. Holy Family (St. William) was first served from Clintonville for fifteen years before being attached to Tigerton. In the modern era St. Rose is linked with St. Mary, Bear Creek, under the SSRM partnership and continues to be the historic Catholic presence in Clintonville.

Faith Formation & Religious Education
SSRM Parishes offer formation for every age. Elementary and high-school religious education classes run October through April, with classes for young adults meeting Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:15 PM at St. Rose and special family nights throughout the year. Catechist and aide volunteers are welcomed. Adult formation includes Bible Study, a 'The Chosen' program, Advent and Lent small-group book studies, and a Life in the Spirit Retreat.

Sacraments
Parents preparing for Baptism should contact Father Simon to make arrangements; Baptisms are usually not celebrated during Lent. Confirmation is conferred on High School students after preparation, and adults should contact the parish office. Christian Marriage is celebrated for couples demonstrating an active practice of the Catholic faith — engaged couples are asked to contact Father Simon for Marriage Preparation and to schedule their wedding. Pastoral Care ministers bring Holy Communion to parishioners who are sick, homebound, or in a nursing home. In a sacramental emergency, Father Simon can be reached any time.

SSRM Parishes operates a parish cemetery at each site. The St. Rose Cemetery is managed by Sexton Teri Braun and reflects the parish's long history in Clintonville dating to the 1880s. The St. Mary's Cemetery in Bear Creek is overseen by Sexton Bill Klegin.

The pastor and administrator of the linked parishes is Rev.
