Parish History

St. Ronald Parish was established by Cardinal John Dearden on July 12, 1971, due to overcrowding in neighboring parishes. Masses were initially held at Richards Junior High School in Fraser, with the first Liturgy in August 1971 attended by 72 families. The parish moved to Fraser Senior High School Auditorium before breaking ground for its own building in November 1972. The Parish Center was dedicated in 1973, and by 1976, over 1,200 families were registered. In 1977, the parish donated land for Madonna Villa, a senior residence. Major renovations and expansions occurred in the 1980s and 2000s, culminating in a new addition dedicated in 2010. The parish has had five pastors since its founding, with Fr. William J. Herman serving as the seventh pastor from 2015 to 2026.

Faith Formation

St. Ronald’s Faith Formation Program strives to provide sound catechesis, spiritual enlightenment, and other resources to help our youth know Jesus Christ and to develop an intimate relationship with him. In addition, we give our students the tools necessary to deepen their Catholic Faith and this allows them to participate more fully and consciously in the life of the church. Religious formation classes are held on Tuesdays starting late September and running through April. We offer one session and it runs from 4:30 PM- 5:45 PM for grades 1st-6th. Middle School program is one Friday and one Sunday a month. Please contact Nicole Tomaszycki at 586-792-1276 for more detailed information.

Youth Ministry

St. Ronald’s Youth Ministry strives to empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today. Also, we do our best to draw young people to re
