Our Patron Saint — St. Robert Bellarmine

St. Robert Bellarmine, the parish's patron, was born in 1542 and ordained a Jesuit priest in 1570. He was the first Jesuit professor at Louvain (1569–76) and wrote a famous three-volume work arguing against the divine-right-of-kings theory. He was made Cardinal by Pope Clement VIII, who said he had 'not his equal for learning,' and he authored two influential catechisms. He died on September 17, 1621, and was canonized by Pope Pius XI.

Sacraments & Sacramental Preparation

St. Robert Bellarmine prepares parishioners for the sacraments of the Church through dedicated programs. Adults seeking initiation participate in RCIA, while teens prepare for Confirmation through the parish's Confirmation Class. Engaged couples complete the parish's Marriage Prep, and the parish provides the Anointing of the Sick by arrangement with the pastor for those who are ill.

Faith Formation & Youth Ministry

The parish runs religious education for children and a vibrant youth ministry for teens. SRB Youth Ministry gathers middle-school and high-school students on Sunday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, beginning each September. Families must be registered parishioners, and each youth needs a signed Youth Release Form to participate. There is no required fee; donations support materials and activities and may be given online by selecting 'Youth Group' or dropped off at the parish office.

Parish School & Dominican Sisters Convent

St. Robert Bellarmine is in the midst of a major campus expansion led by ACI Boland Architects. The masterplan adds a phased parish school to serve Pre-K through 8th grade, along with a gym, expanded parking, and a new loop-access drive. In December 2023, Bishop James Johnston announced that a new convent for the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist would be built on the parish campus; the sisters, founded in 1997, will serve at the new school.
