St. Pius X Catholic Church is a small, family-friendly Roman Catholic parish serving the village of Cambridge and surrounding rural communities in southeastern Wisconsin. Located at 701 W. Water Street in Cambridge, the parish is part of the Diocese of Madison and is now a worship site of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish (Pastorate 14), which merged on June 20, 2023. The parish is pastored by Father Dave Timmerman and is supported by a faithful community shaped around the Eucharist, family faith formation, the Knights of Columbus, and the Catholic Women of St. Pius (formerly the Council of Catholic Women).

Mass and Sacraments Schedule
St. Pius X offers weekday Mass Tuesday through Friday at 8:15 AM, Saturday Vigil Mass at 4:00 PM, and Sunday Mass at 8:30 AM. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is heard Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:00 PM and on Saturdays from 4:00 to 4:30 PM (or by appointment). Eucharistic Adoration is celebrated on the First Friday following the 8:15 AM Mass.

Parish Staff and Pastoral Leadership
The parish is served by a small, dedicated staff. Father Dave Timmerman, ordained for the Diocese of Madison, is the pastor at St. Pius X and a parochial vicar of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish. He is a graduate of Holy Name Seminary, St. Francis de Sales College Seminary, and St. John's University, Collegeville, MN. Patty Strohbusch serves as Parish Secretary and Hannah Thompson serves as Faith Formation Coordinator and Youth Ministry Coordinator.

Sacraments at St. Pius X
St. Pius X prepares children for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in second grade, with a parent retreat prior to First Communion. Baptisms are typically celebrated on the 2nd or 4th weekend of the month (except during Lent), and parents are asked to contact the parish office to schedule. Older children and adults prepare through the parish's Faith Formation and RCIA programs.

Faith Formation and Religious Education
Faith Formation at St. Pius X provides opportunities for lifelong spiritual growth, inviting all to learn and grow in a Christ-centered community where gifts are shared and each person is welcomed, motivated, engaged, and inspired to evangelize and serve others. The Children's program covers Pre-K through Grade 8 with a published Religious Education Calendar for the school year. A Youth Group is open to 8th graders and older. Adult formation offerings include Adult Confirmation, RCIA, Bible and book studies, the Rosary, and Stations of the Cross, with additional resources from the Diocese of Madison.

Parish Organizations
Two lay organizations anchor parish life at St. Pius X. The Catholic Women of St. Pius (renamed from the Council of Catholic Women in September 2023) brings women from all walks of life together in service to the parish and the communities of Cambridge and Deerfield. The Knights of Columbus council supports the parish through service, fellowship, and faith formation.

Catholic Women of St. Pius
The Catholic Women of St. Pius acts through its membership to provide service to St. Pius X Catholic Church and the communities of Cambridge and Deerfield. The group welcomes new members and invites women to attend a meeting to learn about the many activities and ministries that provide support to the parish community.

Stewardship: Giving of Time and Talent
St. Pius X invites parishioners to share their time and talent through liturgical ministries and parish service. Volunteers serve as Eucharistic Ministers, Ministers of the Word (lectors), and Mass Servers, and help with parish cleaning and other needs. Part of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish (Pastorate 14)
On June 20, 2023, Bishop Donald J. Hying of the Diocese of Madison created the merged St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish (Pastorate 14), uniting the worship communities of St. Pius X in Cambridge, St. Joseph in Fort Atkinson, St. John the Baptist and St. Lawrence in Jefferson, St. Mary in Milton, St. Mary in Palmyra, and St. Mary Help of Christians in Sullivan. Msgr. Donald Heiar serves as pastor, with Father Jayaraj Kalivela, Father John Silva, Father David Timmerman, and Father José Luis Vazquez serving as parochial vicars. St. Pius X continues as a worship site of this larger pastorate.
