St. Philip Parish is a Roman Catholic parish in Dallas, Oregon, part of the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon. Located at 825 SW Mill Street in Polk County's mid-Willamette Valley seat, the parish traces its roots to a 1910 mission chapel built with the help of the Catholic Extension Society of America. After more than seven decades of growth, the parish moved into its current church on SW Mill Street, which was formally consecrated in 1991. Today St. Philip is served by Fr. Michael P. Johnston and offers two Sunday Masses, weekday Masses, a robust Faith Formation program, an active Knights of Columbus council, the St. Anne's Altar Society, and outreach ministries such as Caritas and a Care Ministry to the homebound.

Parish History
St. Philip's origins lie in a 1909 visit by the Catholic Extension Society's chapel car St. Anthony, whose chaplain Rev. Hugh McDevitt gave a mission in Dallas, Falls City, and Independence. Within a year, churches were built in each town with Extension Society help; St. Philip's original church was constructed in spring 1910 and dedicated July 3, 1910. The parish served for decades as a mission of Good Shepherd in Sheridan before being elevated to parish status in 1955 under its first resident pastor, Rev. Albert Rodakowski.

Faith Formation
Faith Formation at St. Philip is directed by Juanita Holton and serves parishioners of all ages. Children attend Religious Education classes on Sunday mornings during the school year, with First Communion preparation requiring enrollment the prior year. Teens in 9th–12th grade meet on Sundays 11:15 AM–12:15 PM. Adults preparing for full communion with the Catholic Church journey through the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA), the modern successor to RCIA. The parish also subscribes to FORMED, an online Catholic faith-on-demand platform.
