Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church is a historic parish in the unincorporated community of Petersburg, Delaware County, Iowa. Our History
Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church has anchored the Petersburg community since 1906. Its historic building, added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995, retains original stained-glass windows and hand-painted murals that draw visitors and worshippers alike.

Worship & Sacraments
The parish offers weekday and Saturday-evening Mass as part of the Spires of Faith cluster. Confession is available Saturday mornings before Sunday Mass, and sacramental preparation for Baptism and Marriage is available through the cluster office.

Preserving a Historic Church
In 2018, SS. Peter & Paul launched a multi-year fundraising drive to restore the church roof, steeples, stained-glass windows, and interior murals. The campaign's motto is 'treasuring our past, preserving our future.'
