St. Peter & All Hallows is a bilingual and multicultural Roman Catholic parish in the Diocese of Sacramento, located in the Oak Park / Tahoe Park area of south Sacramento. The parish was formally established in 2011 as a merger of two historic Sacramento parishes — All Hallows (founded 1942) and St. Peter's (founded 1955) — both originally served by Irish-trained priests and the immigrant Italian, Portuguese, Irish, and Mexican families who built them. Today it is one of the most diverse parishes in the diocese, celebrating Mass in English, Spanish, and Hmong, and maintaining active ministries for youth, charity, and liturgy under pastor Rev. Jacobo Caceres.

Parish History
St. Peter & All Hallows is the 2011 merger of two Sacramento parishes with deep immigrant roots. All Hallows was founded in 1942 on Stockton Boulevard by Irish-trained priests and Italian, Portuguese, Irish, and Mexican families, deliberately named for Dublin's All Hallows College Seminary on its 100th anniversary. The parish moved to 14th Avenue and 55th Street in 1946 as postwar GI Bill housing filled surrounding neighborhoods. In 1960, Bishop Joseph McGucken dedicated the current All Hallows Church under Monsignor John Maguire, who died shortly after. St. Peter's was founded nearby in 1955, and the two parishes were formally united in 2011 under the Diocese of Sacramento.
Architecture & Sacred Art
The present All Hallows Church, dedicated in 1960, is a mid-century landmark of green-flecked terrazzo, imported Italian marble in the altar and statuary, two apses, a full choir loft, and a full-sized campanile. Twenty stained-glass windows — fourteen of them three stories tall — depict saints from Sts. Brigid and Patrick to St. Frances Cabrini and St. Peter, with a rose window of Christ and the Evangelists now framed by the 2007 William A. Bakes Memorial Organ pipes. The Yamaha Conservatory Grand Piano arrived in 2005.

Parish Ministries
Parish life is built around ministries for service, youth, and the altar. The St. Vincent de Paul Society serves the local poor, the Knights of Columbus mobilizes Catholic men in faith and fraternity, and Liturgical Ministries trains lectors, ushers, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, and other Mass servants. Devotional Groups gather weekly in Spanish for prayer and formation. The 'Believers' Youth Community ministers to young people, and the parish also runs a beekeeping and local-ecology initiative that teaches skills and teamwork.

Faith Formation & Youth
Children and young adults in the parish Faith Formation Program actively participate in weekend liturgies as lectors, ushers/greeters, and gift-bearers, especially at the monthly Family Mass on the first Sunday at 10:30 AM, where readings use adapted language for families.
