About St. Paul Catholic Church
St. Paul Catholic Church describes itself as 'a diverse and growing community that is inspired by the Holy Spirit and united in prayer to serve as one with Christ.' In response to its Baptismal call, nourished by the Eucharist and guided by the values of the Faith, the parish seeks to continue the mission of Jesus Christ by welcoming, supporting, and guiding all through prayer, sacramental celebration, service, and education. The parish identifies, forms, and supports individuals and their gifts for the ministry of Christ; forms and educates its community of believers; fosters Christian family/community spirit through worship and service; and reaches out with love and compassion to both the spiritual and corporal needs of those around it.
History of the Parish
St. Paul was founded in 1856 in the village of Yellow Springs, Ohio, and has served Catholic families in Greene County continuously ever since. For most of its history it operated as a stand-alone parish with its own resident pastor. The parish's pastoral leadership and reporting on its life in the early 21st century have been documented in The Yellow Springs News, including coverage of the appointment of Father Anthony Geraci by Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk in 2008 and his reappointment by Archbishop Dennis Schnurr in 2014.

St. Michael the Archangel Family of Parishes
Since July 2022 St. Paul has been one of six parishes in the St. Michael the Archangel Family of Parishes, a collaborative model established by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. The other member parishes are Mary, Help of Christians in Fairborn; Sacred Heart in New Carlisle; St. Augustine in Xenia; St. Luke the Evangelist in Beavercreek; and St. Brigid. The Family shares priests and programming so that each parish can continue to celebrate Mass and the sacraments even as priestly vocations change across the archdiocese.

Mass & Liturgical Schedule
St. Paul Catholic Church offers a streamlined weekly schedule of Mass and the sacraments. The Sunday 11:30 am Mass is preceded by the Liturgy of the Hours at 11:15 am, allowing parishioners to pray the daily prayer of the Church together as a community. A weekday Mass is celebrated on Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm. The parish encourages worshippers from the wider Yellow Springs community — including students and faculty at Antioch College and Antioch University Midwest — to make St. Paul their spiritual home.

Music & Liturgical Ministries
The Music Ministry of St. Paul is led by Director of Music Krista Schupbach, who coordinates liturgical music for the parish's Sunday and Wednesday Masses.
