St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church is a Flour Bluff–area parish of the Diocese of Corpus Christi in South Texas, established on June 29, 1967 by Bishop Thomas Drury. The parish community built its first church hall themselves in the late 1960s and 1970s, constructed the present church in 1980 under Fr. Mark Chamberlin, completed a major renovation in 2017 under Fr. Peter Martinez, and today serves the southern coast of Corpus Christi from its Waldron Road campus under Fr. Tomasz Kozub. On the same grounds it hosts Our Lady of the Rosary Learning Center (a four-star early-childhood program run by the Dominican Sisters), a Korean Mass once a month, the annual Steubenville Youth Conference, and a robust Catholic Charities emergency-aid site.

History of St. Paul the Apostle
St. Paul the Apostle was established on June 29, 1967 by Bishop Thomas Drury, with Msgr. Robert E. Freeman as founding pastor. From humble beginnings — first Masses in a Tropic Isles Club apartment — the Flour Bluff community built its own multipurpose church/hall in the 1970s, then the present church, hall, and rectory under Fr. Mark Chamberlin starting in May 1980, a complete renovation under Fr. Peter Martinez in 2017, and a new education annex more recently. The parish also gave land for the Dominican Sisters' convent and the preschool now known as Our Lady of the Rosary.

Parish Patron
The parish is named for St. Paul the Apostle, the great Apostle to the Gentiles whose feast is celebrated together with St. Peter's on June 29 — the same day the parish was founded. The parish therefore lives liturgically around the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul each year.

Under Director of Religious Education Kayla Davila, the parish serves parishioners of all ages — children in PreK–6th grade, middle-schoolers in Edge, high-schoolers in LifeTeen, adults in OCIA, and ongoing Adult Faith Formation. Deacon Gary Robinson coordinates Adult Faith Formation, Altar Servers, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, OCIA, and the Homebound Ministry.

St. Paul's Youth Ministry, led by Jessica Lobato, exists to help teenagers develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ through spiritual growth, authentic Catholic community, service, and family partnership. It is a collaborative effort of the parish, students, and parents.

Our Lady of the Rosary Learning Center (On-Site School)
On the parish campus, the Dominican Sisters' Our Lady of the Rosary Learning Center is a Four-Star-Rated early-childhood program that combines academics, faith formation, and physical development in a safe, loving environment for children 18 months to five years old. The center originated from the convent and Learning Center built on parish land in the early 1980s.

St. Paul the Apostle hosts a monthly Korean Mass with Fr. Kim on the third Sunday of each month, providing a spiritual home for Korean-speaking Catholics in the Corpus Christi area.
