Our Story
In the early 1900s, the only place to attend Mass in Mission was La Lomita Chapel. English-speaking newcomers in 1911 requested a church on the north side. The cornerstone was laid in 1913, and new buildings were constructed in 1960 under Monsignor Dan Laning, dedicated by Bishop Garriaga on December 7, 1960. The church’s architecture is noted for its contemporary art and liturgical symbolism.
Sacramental & Liturgical Services
The parish offers Holy Week services including Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunday Masses. Adoration and Confession are held Thursday at 6:00 PM. Office hours are Monday–Thursday 8:30 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00–5:00 PM, and Friday 8:30 AM–1:00 PM.
