St. Paul Jung-Ha-Sang Korean Catholic Church (성 정하상 바오로 라스베가스 한인 천주교회) is a Korean-language Roman Catholic parish in southwest Las Vegas, Nevada, serving Korean Catholics living in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, and Henderson. The parish is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Las Vegas and meets at 6080 S. Jones Blvd. With roughly 300 registered faithful as of 2025, it is the spiritual home for a close-knit Korean Catholic community that gathers around Mass celebrated entirely in Korean, weekly confession, and a network of parish sodalities and ministries led by a service committee of lay leaders. The current pastor, Rev. Thomas (Jea Sik) Park, was appointed in March 2023, continuing a tradition — since 2006 — of priests sent from the Diocese of Andong in Korea to shepherd the community.

Parish History
The community was born on May 1, 1979 when six Korean Catholic families began gathering for home Masses served by Father Frank Mannion, who traveled periodically from Westminster, California. Under the pastoral care of successive diocesan and visiting priests — including Father Benedict Koo-jao, Father Simon Yu, Father Sean Brazil, Father Michael Morrisey, Father Anthony Mortell, and Father Peter Bang — the community grew from a home-Mass gathering of about 40 active families into an organized parish with its own chapel, choir, catechism program, and Legion of Mary praesidium. On February 6, 1989 Bishop Daniel F. Walsh of Las Vegas formally named the parish after the Korean lay martyr St. Paul Chong Ha-sang. The community celebrated its 25th anniversary on June 5, 2004, and moved to its present home on South Jones Boulevard on June 30, 2004.

Patron Saint — St. Paul Chong Ha-sang
The parish takes its name from Paul Chong Ha-sang (정하상, 1795–1839), one of the most influential Korean Catholic lay leaders of the 19th century and a canonized Korean martyr. Born to converts Augustine Chong Yak-jong and Saint Cecilia Yu Sun-im, Paul devoted his life to the canonical establishment of the Catholic Church in Korea, making eight or nine arduous journeys on foot from Seoul to Beijing (some 2,400 km round-trip) as a coachman for royal envoys in order to petition Rome for priests and the erection of a Korean diocese. He was selected as a seminarian by Bishop Imbert and studied Latin and theology, but was arrested and martyred on September 22, 1839, outside Seosomun in Seoul, before he could be ordained. His written defense of the faith, 'Sangjaesangseo' (上宰相書), is still studied as a classic of early Korean Catholic apologetics. He was beatified in 1925 and canonized by Pope John Paul II on May 6, 1984, along with 102 companions. His feast is September 20, the memorial of the Korean Martyrs.
