The Church of St. Paul is a Roman Catholic parish in Binghamton, New York, founded in 1896 to serve the city's growing Catholic population on the south side of the Chenango River. Since 2008 it has been canonically linked with the neighboring parish of St. Mary of the Assumption (established 1887) on Fayette Street, and the two parishes are served by a single pastor while retaining independent parish offices and worship sites. St. Paul's is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse and operates from its campus at 15 Doubleday Street, which also houses the joint parish and business offices. History of the Church of St. Paul
St. Paul was established in 1896 to serve south-side Binghamton Catholics, nine years after neighboring St. Mary of the Assumption (1887) had been set up for the east-of-Washington-Street faithful. In May 2007, Bishop James Moynihan of Syracuse announced that the two parishes would be linked effective 2008, with one pastor serving both while both church buildings remained open. That canonical link is still in place today.

Devotions and Prayer Life
Beyond the Mass schedule, St. Paul's hosts a Saturday morning Rosary group at 8:00 AM and a Tuesday Miraculous Medal Novena following the 12:10 PM Mass. Faith Formation and RCIA
Religious education for parish children in grades K–10 is coordinated by Director of Faith Formation Donna DiStefano, who also serves as the Safe Environment Site Coordinator for both parishes. The annual K–10 Faith Formation Registration Form lets families register at either St. Mary's or St. Paul's and records sacramental milestones (Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Holy Eucharist). Adults seeking to become Catholic are welcomed through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). RCIA classes meet Wednesdays at 5:30 PM in the Parish Office Building on the St. Paul's campus; inquirers are invited to call the St. Paul's Parish Office to begin.

Young Adult Ministry
Young adults (ages 18–39, nursing babies welcome) gather for 'Thank God It's First Friday' (TGIFF) on the first Friday of each month at St. Mary's. The evening runs from 6:00 to 7:00 PM with Eucharistic Adoration, the Sacrament of Confession, the Rosary, food, and fellowship. RSVPs are taken by text.
