St. Patrick Parish has shepherded Catholic families in Calipatria and the surrounding Imperial Valley for many decades. A 1937 clergy assignment record lists the Rev. Michael O'Connor as pastor of St. Patrick's in Calipatria, and the late Father Robert Koerner served the parish for nearly 30 years before his death in January 1990. In 2026, Father Manuel Del Rio was appointed pastor of St. Patrick Parish and canonical pastor of St. Thomas Indian Mission.
