About St. Patrick. Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Community. · Prattsburgh, New York

Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Community is a merged parish serving Penn Yan, Naples, and Prattsburgh, formed in 2010 due to declining priestly vocations and dwindling congregations. It now unites four historic churches — St. Michael’s, St. Januarius’, St. Patrick’s, and St. Michael’s School — under one pastoral leadership. The community emphasizes faith formation, sacramental life, and outreach, with Masses and ministries spread across three counties. Our History

Due to declining priestly vocations, the six parishes merged into one in 2010. St. Andrew’s (Dundee) closed first in 2009, followed by St. Mary’s (Rushville) in 2011, and St. Theresa’s (Stanley) in 2019. The remaining four churches — St. Michael’s (Penn Yan), St. Januarius’ (Naples), St. Patrick’s (Prattsburgh), and St. Michael’s School — continue to serve as active worship sites across Yates, Steuben, and Ontario counties.

Our Mission

We come together in our common faith as God’s holy people. Strengthened by the Word of God and His Sacraments, we go forth in faith to love and serve all.

Our Vision

To live changed lives through a personal encounter with God, serving Him as missionary disciples.

Our Values

We value God’s presence in the Sacraments, creation, each other and all the gifts we receive.
