St. Patrick Parish serves the Moxham neighborhood of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a tight-knit section of the city long associated with the Cambria Mills and the immigrant Catholic families who built the community. Parish Staff & Leadership
On May 14, 2021, Bishop Mark Bartchak of the Diocese of Altoona–Johnstown announced the appointment of Reverend Matthew B. Baum as Rector of St. John Gualbert Cathedral and Pastor of St. Patrick Parish, effective June 7, 2021. Father Baum also continues as a Sacramental Minister for the state correctional institutions of the diocese. Reverend Antony Sudherson, HGN, was appointed Parochial Vicar of St. John Gualbert at the same time, assisting both parishes while residing at St. Benedict Parish in Johnstown.

Connection to St. John Gualbert Cathedral
St. Patrick shares its website, weekly bulletin, and pastoral team with St. John Gualbert Cathedral, the co-cathedral of the Diocese of Altoona–Johnstown. Founded in 1835, St. John Gualbert is the oldest Roman Catholic parish in the city of Johnstown and the first church in the world to be built with a steel superstructure — the cross was placed on the tower's highest point days before the cornerstone was laid in 1895. The Cathedral is a contributing property in the Downtown Johnstown Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places.

Proclaim! TV Ministry
St. John Gualbert Cathedral is home to the Proclaim! TV Ministry, which has broadcast the Catholic Mass on local and regional television every Sunday since 1987. The choir loft of the cathedral houses the studio and control room used by Proclaim!, extending the reach of Johnstown's Catholic worship well beyond the walls of either parish.
