About St. Michael the Archangel · Royal City, Washington

St. Michael the Archangel Parish is a Roman Catholic parish serving the agricultural community of Royal City in Washington's Columbia Basin (Grant County). Established in 1966 when it was raised from mission status in the Diocese of Yakima, it is one of the most ethnically diverse parishes in central Washington, offering Mass in both English and Spanish every Sunday. From its home at 205 Wildflower St NE, the parish also administers Queen of All Saints Parish in nearby Warden, and is home to a broad range of Hispanic and Anglo ministries — from Cursillo and Guadalupano groups to Al-Anon, a Charismatic Group, and youth outreach.

Why belong here

St. Michael the Archangel is a small but unusually lively parish that lives at the heart of Royal City's working agricultural community. Three Sunday Masses (one in English, two in Spanish) and a weekly Spanish Mass reflect the bilingual fabric of central Washington. Beyond Mass, the parish offers rich opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship — Cursillo, Guadalupano, a Charismatic Group, Marriage Encounter, Al-Anon, and the Madre Teresa Group for helping the poor — making it a place where families, youth, and Spanish-speaking Catholics can find a true spiritual home.
