St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Sharonville, Ohio, is a Roman Catholic parish locally established in 1919 and now part of the St. Carlo Acutis Family of Parishes in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Originally founded by German-Catholic farmers and Irish-Catholic railroad workers, the parish grew alongside its grade school and worships today in a church built in 1962, with weekly Mass celebrated in English. Parish History
St. Michael the Archangel Parish was locally established in 1919 by German-Catholic farmers and Irish-Catholic railroad workers, with the first Mass celebrated in the home of J.D. O'Sullivan on Christmas Day. A parish school opened in 1927 staffed by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, and the current church was built in 1962. The parish underwent its most significant expansion in 2002–2003, when the entire community moved off-property for major renovations — Masses were celebrated at Sharonville United Methodist Church and the Evendale Recreation Center, while school classes relocated to the (now closed) St. Saviour school building. Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk rededicated the parish altar on June 29, 2003, and St. Michael School reopened on August 24, 2003.

St. Carlo Acutis Family of Parishes
St. Michael is one of three parishes that make up the St. Carlo Acutis Family of Parishes, formed as part of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati's Beacons of Light pastoral initiative. The family includes St. Gabriel Church in Glendale and St. John the Evangelist Church in West Chester, plus two elementary schools (St. Gabriel Consolidated School and St. Michael Parish School). The family shares pastoral leadership, faith formation staff, music and worship personnel, and outreach ministries across all three parishes.

St. Michael Parish School
St. Michael Parish School is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence that educates the whole child in faith, academics, and service. Located at 11136 Oak Street, Sharonville (just steps from the church), the school serves approximately 401 students in grades K-8 with 45 faculty and staff members. School hours are 8:00 AM – 2:50 PM, with a class size of approximately 25:1. Tuition assistance is available through ODOE EdChoice, the Catholic Education Fund, Jon Peterson, and parish subsidies.

Faith Formation & Youth Ministry
The parish runs year-round formation for children, teens, and adults. Children attend catechetical classes on weekends; teens are served through Junior High and High School Youth Ministry (Mustangs Serve is the service arm); adults can join RCIA / Inquiry, weekly Bible studies, and other enrichment groups. Sacramental preparation is offered for Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, and Marriage.

Outreach & Charity
St. Michael has a strong tradition of charity and direct service, anchored by its active St. Vincent de Paul conference, which makes person-to-person home visits and provides rent, utility, food, and clothing assistance to neighbors in need. The parish supports the Sharonville Food Pantry (quarterly non-perishable collections) and Mercy Neighborhood Ministries through Shared Food Sunday on the fourth Sunday of each month. Twice a year — during Advent and Lent — the parish hosts St. Michael Serves, a weekend of family-friendly service projects.

Parish Life & Annual Events
Beyond Mass and ministry, the parish gathers socially and spiritually throughout the year. The signature event is St. Mike Fest, held the first weekend of June, drawing the wider community to the parish grounds. Other events include the St. Carlo Acutis Picnic, funeral receptions and bereavement meals, homebound Communion visits, and scouting programs (Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts).
