Sacraments
Beyond Mass and Reconciliation, St. Michael's celebrates the other sacraments of the Catholic Church. Baptisms and Marriages are arranged by appointment through the parish office. The Rite of Anointing of the Sick is available by appointment, with the parish recommending at least six months advance notice when feasible. Catholic Inquiry (OCIA / RCIA-style inquiry) is held on the First Friday of the month or by request.

St. Michael's has an extensive lay-ministry program covering liturgical, formational, and pastoral needs. Outreach & Charitable Works
St. Michael's serves the wider North Valley through charitable partnerships and parish fundraisers. The parish hosts the Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada North Valley Satellite Office, which operates a client-choice food pantry and other social services. The Charismatic Group of the parish hosts periodic Kermes (food sales) and other fundraisers such as support for the Colombia Mission. Safe Environment (Virtus)
