History
St. Michael Parish in Craig was established as a separate parish in 1998 when Father Roger Lascelle became pastor of both Holy Family Parish in Meeker and St. Michael’s in Craig. Prior to that, Holy Family in Meeker was established in 1905 and later became a mission of St. Ignatius in Rangely. The parish in Craig was originally part of a larger tri-parish structure, and the current St. Michael Church building was renovated in the late 1990s with grants from the Colorado Historical Society and other sources.

The parish offers a wide range of ministries including Faith Formation, RCIA, Youth Ministry, Eucharistic Ministers, Hospitality, Liturgical Ministries, Prayer Shawl Ministry, St. Vincent de Paul Society, and more.
