St. Matthias – Christ Our Hope Parish is a Roman Catholic community in rural Chautauqua County, New York, centered at the St. Matthias worship site in French Creek (Clymer mailing address). The parish traces its roots to St. Matthias Church, established in 1873, and was reconstituted as Christ Our Hope Parish in 2008 during diocesan restructuring. Today it is one of six churches in the Chautauqua Family of Catholic Churches, sharing clergy and resources while maintaining a warm, small-town worship life anchored in the Eucharist and the sacraments.

History
St. Matthias Church in French Creek was founded in 1873 and served the local Catholic community for more than 130 years. In 2008, it was merged into the newly formed Christ Our Hope Parish as part of the Diocese of Buffalo’s pastoral planning. The parish now operates as a worship site within the Chautauqua Family of Catholic Churches and has recently completed building renovations.
