Welcome to Our Parish
We worship Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In the celebration of the Mass, Jesus Christ is present in the Word and in the Eucharist. Indeed, our parish is named after St. Mary, the Mother of God. We honor Mary as an example of faith, holiness and obedience by allowing God’s love to become incarnate so that He could transform the world.
Our Parish Pastor
We are delighted to welcome you to worship with us. If you are a visitor to St. Mary’s Church, we want you to know how welcome you are whether you have come from another part of the country, from across the world, or from another parish here in Sacramento. As a family of believers, we celebrate the liturgy in a fitting and beautiful manner, and also, we are able to give spiritual, social and emotional support through a variety of services to the community.
History
Our parish had its centennial celebration in 2006. We are indebted to all who worked hard and prayed ceaselessly for our parish. Our parish grew commendably with the collaborative efforts of several benefactors and volunteers. We continue helping people in the parish and those in the local community.
