Why belong here

St. Mary Magdalen is the Catholic home for Catholics in Bloomfield and rural Davis County, offering a warm Sunday evening Mass in a small, easy-to-navigate setting. Because the parish is part of the St. Joseph Ottumwa cluster, parishioners have access to a wider network of ministries — bilingual Masses at St. Mary of the Visitation, larger liturgies at St. Patrick, and shared religious education for children and adults. Confession is offered right before Sunday Mass, and the parish staff can be reached easily through the central Ottumwa office for baptisms, weddings, anointing of the sick, and OCIA (formerly RCIA).
