Holy Trinity Parish is a Roman Catholic parish in the Diocese of Albany serving the southwestern Columbia County communities of Hudson, Germantown, and Linlithgo, New York. The merged parish was formed on July 1, 2009 and brings together three historic worship sites: the Church of St. Mary in Hudson (founded 1847, the first Catholic church in Columbia County), the Church of the Resurrection in Germantown, and the Chapel of the Nativity of Our Lord in Linlithgo. Its Sunday liturgies are celebrated at St. Mary's in Hudson and at the Church of the Resurrection in Germantown, while St. Mary's also houses the Our Lady of Victory Adoration Chapel, where Eucharistic Adoration is offered around the clock. The parish is pastored by Father Anthony M. Barratt, an English-born priest who also serves the Diocese of Albany as Director of the Office of Prayer and Worship and as Episcopal Vicar for the Hudson Valley.

- Eucharistic Adoration is offered all day, every day in the Our Lady of Victory Adoration Chapel inside St. Mary's (429 East Allen Street, Hudson).
- Sunday: 4:00 pm → uninterrupted to Wednesday 10:00 pm (repose).
- Thursday: 8:00 am → 11:00 pm (repose).
- Friday: 8:00 am → Saturday 11:00 am; 6:00 pm → midnight (repose).

Holy Trinity Parish describes itself as 'the family of Holy Trinity Parish, in southwestern Columbia County, united in our Catholic faith, seeking to build a community that shares the Good News of Jesus Christ with the world through prayer, worship, and service to others.' Newcomers are explicitly welcomed to introduce themselves to Father Anthony after Mass and to contact the parish office to register. Visitors can also pray along live via the parish's YouTube-streamed Masses.

Parish History
The parish's oldest root is St. Mary's Church in Hudson, founded in 1847 as the first Catholic church in Columbia County. Its original 1848 building on South Third Street was replaced in 1930 by the present church on East Allen Street. After the 1990 closures of Hudson's Italian (Mount Carmel) and Polish (Sacred Heart) parishes, and the 2009 diocesan 'Called to BE Church' merger, St. Mary's was combined with the Church of the Resurrection in Germantown and the Chapel of the Nativity of Our Lord in Linlithgo to create Holy Trinity Parish, effective July 1, 2009.

Worship Sites

Faith Formation and Sacraments
Holy Trinity prepares children and teens for the sacraments of initiation using the Dynamic Catholic program for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Confirmation candidates complete service hours, a mandatory retreat, and a rehearsal before the annual celebration. The parish also offers marriage preparation, often hosted outdoors in the parish garden, and welcomes inquiries about baptism and the Anointing of the Sick through the parish office.

Parish Ministries and Service Organizations
Parishioners serve through both internal liturgical ministries and outreach partnerships. Liturgical roles include the Greeters/Hospitality team, Altar Servers (open to any baptized child or adult who has received First Communion), the Verger and Sacristan, and choirs. Spiritual and fraternal organizations include Knights of Columbus Council #316 and the Catholic Daughters Court. Outreach is supported through Catholic Charities of Columbia & Greene Counties, the Alight Crisis Pregnancy Center, and New Life Maternity Home.

The Parish Garden
What was once a blank grassy lot next to the rectory has become an English-style parish garden designed by Father Barratt, who holds a Master's in Garden Design from the Royal Horticulture Society. Planted with lilies, lavender, bee balm, Our Lady's Mantle, Rose of Sharon, and Angel Trumpets, the garden hosts marriage-preparation gatherings with wine and cheese and is a personal place of prayer for the pastor, who often prays the Rosary while watering the beds.
