History & Heritage
St. Mary Mission's history is closely tied to St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Parish. When Monsignor Morgan Rowsome was appointed pastor of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles on February 2, 1994, he hired Sr. Susana of the Pax Christi Institute as Sister in charge of St. Mary Mission, assisted by Sr. Maria Del Angels. Monsignor Rowsome retired on June 30, 2013. The mission has continued to be served by the Pax Christi Sisters, with Sister Susana Maria Renteria, PCI, currently listed as the mission's pastor.

As a mission of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostles Parish, St. Mary Mission parishioners have access to the full range of parish ministries offered through the parent parish. These include liturgical ministries such as choir, lector, altar server, and Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist; faith formation for children and adults; social justice ministries including visiting the homebound and volunteering at food pantries; and community-building groups such as the Altar & Rosary Society and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Sacraments
