Parish History & the New Church
St. Martin of Tours has ministered to Catholics in the Forney, Texas area for more than 125 years. With parish rolls now exceeding 3,000 families and Mass attendance overflowing the original sanctuary, the parish launched a capital campaign with the Steier Group to construct a new, larger church. More than two dozen volunteer families assisted with appeals, helping the parish take a major step toward gathering the whole community under one roof for worship.

Faith Formation & Youth Ministry
Faith formation at St. Martin of Tours spans every age. The parish offers Faith Formation for children, EDGE middle school youth ministry (grades 6–8), and Life Teen high school youth ministry (grades 9–12), which meets Wednesdays from 6:00–8:00 PM in the Parish Hall. Registration is open year-round. A dedicated College & Young Adult Ministry serves 18–30 year olds through Bible studies, prayer nights, social activities, and shared meals.

Divorce Ministry
The parish's Divorce Ministry is a confidential, faith-based support community open to men and women whose separations are recent or long past. Each session includes video teaching, guided discussion, prayer, and tools drawn from Catholic wisdom and pastoral care, providing a safe space to share, grow, and heal in community.

Music & Liturgy
The SMT choirs rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 6:45 to 8:00 PM and sing at the Saturday Vigil and Sunday morning Masses as well as on Holy Days of Obligation. The choir performs traditional liturgical music with organ accompaniment and welcomes singers of all voice types and experience levels.

Visit & Contact
The parish office at 9470 County Road 213 is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (closed for lunch 12:30–1:30 PM); the office is closed on Mondays. Friday hours shift to 9:30 AM–12:30 PM during the summer. Visitors are warmly welcomed at weekend Masses and encouraged to introduce themselves to the priests after Mass.
