About St. Mark. Transfiguration of the Lord Parish. · Attleboro Falls, Massachusetts

St. Mark is one of three church buildings that make up Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, a Roman Catholic community in North Attleborough, Massachusetts, within the Diocese of Fall River. Originally established in 1967 as Saint Mark Parish in Attleboro Falls, it was suppressed on January 1, 2020, by decree of Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha and merged with Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception and Sacred Heart to form the new Transfiguration of the Lord Parish. Today the St. Mark church at 105 Stanley Street continues to serve as a worship site, hosting Sunday and weekday Masses, monthly Eucharistic Adoration, and parish life for Catholic families in the Attleboro Falls section of North Attleborough.

The St. Mark church was completed in 1971, and the parish marked 50 years of life in 2017. In January 2020, Saint Mark was merged with Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception and Sacred Heart to form Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, by decree of Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha.
