St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church is the Catholic parish serving Bullhead City, Arizona, a fast-growing community along the Colorado River across from Laughlin, Nevada. The parish traces its roots to 1947, when the Catholic Extension Society built the first church here for the small river-town community then known as Bull's Head City. Today, on a 15-acre campus on North Oatman Road, the parish worships in a mission-style church seating roughly 1,000 people, with a worship schedule offered in English, Spanish, and a bilingual weekly Mass. The parish is led by Pastor Father Dan Vollmer and is home to more than 1,340 registered families across the Tri-State region.

Our History
From its 1947 founding as a tiny 100-seat chapel built with Catholic Extension Society funds along the Colorado River near Davis Dam, St. Margaret Mary grew with Bullhead City itself. The parish was incorporated into the new Diocese of Phoenix in 1969, formally established as its own parish on April 20, 1976 with almost 400 registered families, and rebuilt twice: once in 1981–82 when federal land leases ended (the original building is now the Colorado River Historical Museum), and again in 2008–11 when today's mission-style church seating about 1,000 was dedicated by Bishop Olmsted on September 29, 2011.
