Parish Patron: St. Louis de Montfort
The parish is named for St. Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort (1673–1716), a French Catholic priest and itinerant missionary preacher born at Montfort on January 31, 1673, and dying at Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre on April 28, 1716. From childhood he was devoted to prayer before the Blessed Sacrament; at the Jesuit college in Rennes he joined a group of young men who served the poor and the sick in hospitals. He was ordained at age 27 and, beginning in 1705, spent seventeen years preaching missions across towns and villages of Brittany and Vendée. He is remembered for his Marian preaching, the Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary, and for founding two congregations — the Company of Mary (Montfort Fathers) and the Sisters of Wisdom — a year before his death. He was beatified by Pope Leo XIII in 1888 and canonized by Pope Pius XII in 1947; his feast day is April 28.

Stephen Ministry is a lay caring ministry in which trained parishioners provide one-to-one Christian care to people going through difficult times such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation. The next Stephen Minister training cohort begins in October 2025 and involves 50 hours of specialized training using materials from Stephen Ministry's international headquarters; all materials are provided.

St. Louis de Montfort Catholic School
St. Louis de Montfort Catholic School is a parish preschool-through-eighth-grade school on the Fishers campus, serving more than 560 students with a faith-based, academically rigorous curriculum. The school is recognized for academic excellence and was named a 2025 Indiana Blue Ribbon School, as well as a 2013 National Blue Ribbon School. It also earns an 'A' grade from the Indiana Department of Education, is a Four Star School, and is a Purple Star school.
