Why belong here
St. Lawrence is a welcoming small parish that combines traditional weekday devotions — daily Mass Tuesday through Friday, weekly Confession on Fridays after Mass, and First Friday Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament — with bilingual Sunday worship in English and Spanish. As part of the Pacific County Catholic Parishes partnership, parishioners are served by an experienced pastor and two deacons who care for three small Pacific County communities together, and the parish hosts active Knights of Columbus and Saint Vincent de Paul outreach. Pacific County Catholic Parishes Partnership
St. Lawrence is the central hub of the Pacific County Catholic Parishes, a partnership of three small Catholic communities in the southernmost coastal county of Washington state. The three parishes — St. Lawrence in Raymond, St. Mary in Seaview, and St. Joseph @ Holy Family in Frances — share a single pastor, a unified pastoral staff, and a single website (pccatholics.org). This pastoral arrangement, called 'Partners' in the parish's own language, allows the Archdiocese of Seattle to keep small, rural Catholic communities served by an experienced priest and a stable team of deacons rather than leaving each isolated.

Parish Ministries and Outreach
Although a small parish of about 47 families, St. Lawrence supports the traditional Catholic works of mercy through lay-led groups. The Knights of Columbus council is based at the Raymond church (1112 Blake St.), and a Saint Vincent de Paul conference serves the wider Pacific County area, providing emergency assistance to families in need. The parish also relies on bilingual liturgical volunteers for its two-language Sunday schedule.

Patron Saint: St. Lawrence of Rome
The parish takes its name from St. Lawrence (Latin: Laurentius), one of the seven deacons of the early Church of Rome, who was martyred on August 10, 258 during the persecution of Emperor Valerian. Lawrence is the patron saint of deacons, cooks and restaurateurs, comedians, and the poor — a fitting patron for a small working-class parish on the Washington coast that lives out charity through the Knights of Columbus and Saint Vincent de Paul. His feast day is celebrated each year on August 10.
