Sacraments
St. Lawrence prepares its parishioners for the full sacramental life of the Catholic Church. Sacramental preparation is coordinated through the parish office and the Regional Faith Formation Director. Confirmation is celebrated every other year by the bishop, alternating between fall and spring within the cycle. Candidates for sacraments and their parents are required by the diocese to attend an intergenerational workshop immediately preceding reception of the sacrament, and a copy of the baptismal record is required if the child was baptized at a parish other than Christ, Prince of Peace or St. Lawrence.

A dedicated Ministry to the Homebound extends pastoral care to parishioners who cannot attend Mass. A Young Adult Ministry is sponsored locally for those aged 21–45 (married, single, with or without children) and gathers for Eucharistic Adoration, scriptural study, topical programs, bowling, and movie nights.
