The present church was dedicated in 1926, and for many decades the parish also ran St. Laurence School, originally staffed by the Sisters of Charity from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; that school building now houses the Laramie Montessori Charter School. In 2024 the parish celebrated its sesquicentennial with a special Mass co-celebrated by the diocesan bishop and a papal blessing.
