About Us

St. Katharine Drexel Parish is the most liturgically diverse parish in the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois. We offer the Ordinary Form of the Mass in both English and Spanish. St. Katharine Drexel is also Springfield's 'Home of the Latin Mass,' otherwise known as the Extraordinary Form of the Mass. Also included in the daily liturgical schedule at St. Katharine Drexel Parish is the Liturgy of the Hours, led by the Canons Regular of St. Cantius.

Sacraments

Baptism arrangements must be made in advance by contacting the parish. Confessions are heard before every Mass. If you would like to make an appointment for confession, please contact the parish. Parishioners should make arrangements at least six months in advance by contacting the parish for Marriage.

Staff

Staffed by the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius, the parish serves Catholics through solemn liturgies, devotions, sacred art and music, as well as instruction in the heritage of the Church, catechetics and Catholic culture.
