St. Julia Parish is a Catholic community of the Archdiocese of Boston serving more than 1,200 families from Weston, Lincoln, and surrounding communities. The parish worships at two beautiful, air-conditioned church locations: St. Julia Church in Weston (374 Boston Post Road) and St. Joseph Church in Lincoln (142 Lincoln Road). St. Joseph Church, the Lincoln worship site of the parish, was established in 1904 as a mission of St. Bernard Parish in Concord and is now an integral part of this combined Weston/Lincoln Catholic community that was united in 2004 under the Archdiocese of Boston's parish reconfiguration.

The parish has a strong faith formation program for grades 1–8 (Confirmation prep), a vibrant OCIA process for adults, a dedicated youth faith formation director, and a music ministry led by a Music Director and cantors. History of St. Joseph Church, Lincoln
St. Joseph Church was established in 1904 as a mission of St. Bernard Parish in Concord, with the cornerstone laid in October of that year. The land was donated by Mrs. Helen Welch, and the church was built on the foundation of an existing house, designed by Chickering and O'Connell Architects of Boston. Over more than a century it has grown, suffered a 1987 sanctuary fire, been fully renovated to Vatican II standards (reopening Easter 1992), and today remains a beloved 175-seat worship site within St. Julia Parish.

Pastoral & Administrative Staff
Parish leadership includes Bishop Robert P. Reed serving as Temporary Administrator, with Permanent Deacon Rafe Brown assisting. Archbishop Henning has appointed Fr. Scott Euvrard as the next pastor (effective June 24, 2026) and Fr. Giris Azize as a parochial priest (also effective June 24, 2026); Fr. Euvrard will additionally serve as Episcopal Vicar of the West Region. Fr. Paul Soper, Secretary for Ministerial Personnel of the Archdiocese, will assist in the parish's pastoral care in the weeks prior to Fr. Euvrard's arrival. The office, operations, and liturgy teams support both church sites.

Faith Formation & Religious Education
Faith Formation at St. Julia Parish is the lifelong process of forming baptized disciples through learning, worship, and life, led by Director of Youth Faith Formation Jacqueline Ashba. Programs are provided for Grades 1–6 (curriculum: 'Walking with Jesus' by Sophia Institute) and Confirmation Prep for Grades 7–8 (using the 'Chosen' series by Ascension Press), with home-school options available for all grades. Each grade level participates in an assigned Sunday Mass ministry once a year, followed by a Family Gathering; service expectations are set each year. All parish volunteers must attend a VIRTUS 'Protecting God's Children' session, complete an annual CORI form, and follow a Code of Conduct.

Confirmation Preparation (Youth)
Youth Confirmation is a two-year program of study and service beginning in 7th grade, including faith formation classes, community service (10 hours per year), family Mass participation, a retreat in year two, choosing a non-parent sponsor who is a baptized, confirmed, practicing Catholic, selecting a confirmation name, and writing a one-page typed letter to Bishop Robert Reed. Confirmation is one of the three Sacraments of Christian Initiation, sealing the baptized with the gifts of the Holy Spirit; it is commonly celebrated by the bishop in the Roman Catholic Church.

Adult Faith Formation & OCIA
The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) welcomes adults seeking Baptism, those completing their initiation through Confirmation and Eucharist, and those seeking full communion with the Roman Catholic Church. The OCIA team walks alongside inquirers through a gradual process of inquiry, formation, prayer, and companionship toward adult Baptism. Adult Confirmation is offered as part of OCIA. The parish also offers ongoing Adult Faith Formation, and parishioners interested in learning more are encouraged to contact the Parish Office.

Sacraments & Pastoral Care
St. Julia Parish celebrates the full sacramental life of the Church. Beyond the Eucharist, Reconciliation is offered weekly and by appointment, with additional Wednesday evening Lenten sessions. The parish prepares children for First Communion through the Faith Formation program, youth for Confirmation, and couples for Marriage (see the Wedding Information Overview on the parish site). Anointing of the Sick and visits to the homebound and hospitalized are available by request through the Parish Office, and the parish also supports discernment of vocations to the priesthood and diaconate.

Liturgy & Music
The parish's liturgy and music ministry serves both church locations. Music Director Brian Moll leads the program along with cantors Mara Bonde and Martin Kelly, supporting the sung prayer of the Mass, Divine Mercy devotions, and Eucharistic Adoration. Both St. Joseph Church and St. Julia Church are air conditioned to support the worship environment.
