Why belong here

St. Joseph is one of the most welcoming bilingual Catholic communities in southeast Texas, with Mass celebrated every day in Spanish and Sundays in English, Spanish, and bilingual form. A perpetual Adoration Chapel (Monday 8:30 a.m. through Friday 10:00 p.m.) lets parishioners pray before the Blessed Sacrament in the building next door to the church. Confession is offered twice a week, Faith Formation prepares children for First Reconciliation and First Communion, and St. Joseph shares a single parish office with sister parishes St. Catherine of Siena and St. James — so newcomers can plug into ministries, sacraments and a tightly-knit Catholic family that has served Port Arthur since 1951.
