Pastor & Clergy
Since 2022, the pastor of the Pend Oreille County cluster — including St. Joseph — has been Rev. James Peak, who also ministers to the Kalispel people at Our Lady of Sorrows Mission. Fr. Peak grew up in a community of fewer than 50 people on the Coeur d'Alene River in northern Idaho and has deep personal ties to the region's Jesuit missionary heritage, including the Cataldo Mission. His predecessor, Rev. Victor M. Blazovich (ordained in Spokane in 2000 and a former Cathedral parishioner), served the cluster in the 2021–22 directory cycle and remains listed as registered agent for the parish's legal entity.
