Pastor and Clergy
Pastor Fr. Elias Gieske, ordained in 2013 for the Diocese of Duluth, served St. Joseph’s from 2016-2020, initially with Deerwood and Crosby, then with Deerwood, Crosby, Garrison and Hillman. He returned to the cluster in April 2022. He grew up in Lindstrom, Minnesota, and enjoys hiking, camping, and visiting parishioners in their homes.
Faith Formation and Sacraments
The parish offers Baptism, Matrimony, Funeral, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Confirmation, and Anointing of the Sick. Faith formation includes Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Family Faith Formation, and Group Night. Sacramental preparation is available for Baptism and Matrimony.
